PORTFOLIOone|two POST-2000 PROJECTS Since our inception in 2000, Winward Structures has provided specialist consulting structural engineering services to some of the most complex and significant projects in Melbourne, as well as contributing to a number of interstate and international projects.
PORTFOLIOthree PRE-2000 PROJECTS Kevin Winward was a founding director of Bonacci Winward from 1981-2000, and was the Project Director and concept designer for numerous major projects during this period.
The key to economy and ease, speed and quality of construction lies in achieving the optimum concept design and converting this into the built product.
Winward Structures is a proven specialist in developing creative structural solutions to achieve optimum designs.
Winward Structures is an evolutionary practice.
It evolved out of the Bonacci Winward Group in 2000 to address Kevin Winward's desire to focus on the creative aspects of engineering design and construction, rather than the management demands of a highly successful and broad-based international consultancy practice as had been his role since jointly founding Bonacci Winward in 1981.
Winward Structures is a vehicle for Kevin Winward and a specialist team to offer personal, hands-on structural engineering service, focussed on concept design and value engineering. Extensive experience and a proven track record within Australia and overseas in the delivery of creative, economical and readily buildable design solutions is the foundation on which the practice is built.
Where total design and construction phase services are required, Winward Structures will undertake this role singly, or associate with and lead appropriate consultants with complementary skills and resources to construction detail. This combination of creativity, engineering skill and experience and documentation capacity is very powerful, leading to optimum design solutions and delivery.
